Good News!

Dear Parents,

Many parents have asked us if there is a way to keep Hobble Creek Learning Center open.  As a family we have been exploring possible options and are happy to announce that we have found a way to continue offering services to our community.

Last week Eva Witesman, a preschool parent and professor in The Marriott School of Management at BYU, approached me.  She is an expert in non-profit business administration.  After discussing the advantages of this alternative business structure we have decided to transform Hobble Creek Learning Center into a non-profit organization.

Your experience at Hobble Creek Learning Center will remain constant.  Our excellent teachers have agreed to stay with us and we will continue to offer award-winning preschool, tutoring, and creative classes.  I will remain as the Executive Director, but will have the assistance of a governing board that will donate their unique professional abilities and time to our organization.  We also hope to channel the support of parents and community members as volunteers. My primary focus will be to ensure that our educational programs are of the highest quality.

As a result of these changes we are now opening our fall enrollment.  In appreciation for your loyalty we will waive our normal registration fee of $35.00 until April 1, 2012.  We hope you will encourage your friends and family to enroll their children at Hobble Creek Learning Center.

I am so grateful for you and for your support of our school.  It is my belief that through this new organization, Hobble Creek Learning Center will continue to grow and become an even better educational resource for the entire community.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Harker
